IDM-RG2000 SIP Radio Gateway
IDM-RG2000 SIP Radio Gateway I. Overview The IDM RG2000 Softswitch Trunking Dispatch Gateway provides connections for up to three base station radios. Each radio has a dedicated SIP voice channel connected to the dispatcher as a hotline, plus 1~2 additional SIP voice channels that can be switched to any radio at any time. When a base station radio has multiple voice channels simultaneously, a voice conference room is formed between the radio and the multiple voice channels. The gateway supports the dispatch console specifying a radio's operating frequency, transmitted via the standard MQTT IoT protocol, and then changing the radio channel's operating frequency through voice or digital means. The trunking dispatch intercom gateway registers simultaneously with the SIP voice dispatch server and the IoT communication server. It supports the SIP softswitch protocol and the IoT MQTT protocol. The MQTT protocol supports PTT command transmission, serial port radio frequency management, radio power settings, etc. On the dispatch console interface, the station name, radio purpose name, radio model, radio frequency, and the SIP dedicated line telephone number are displayed. The dispatch console icons also show the radio's transmit/receive status, audio on the SIP dedicated line, etc. The IDM RG2000 SIP VHF trunking radio gateway provides audio interfaces for three VHF radios and serial interfaces for radio parameter control. There are 5 SIP telephone links that can connect to other SIP terminals through the dispatch server. Each radio has a corresponding voice conference room, supporting up to 6-party conferences, meaning one radio can allow 5 SIP telephone clients to speak online simultaneously. II.
