
IDM MSTP8200 Integrated Service Transmission Equipment
The MSTP8200 Integrated Service Transmission Equipment provides STM-16/STM-4/STM-1 optical interfaces, Gigabit Ethernet ports based on EOS technology, E1 interfaces, and supports various 64K services including FXS/FXO, V.35/V.24, hotline, and magneto. It can also access video signals for convenient video surveillance system setup.
Overview
The IDM MSTP8200 Integrated Service Transmission Equipment is a new generation access-oriented optical-electrical integrated transmission equipment based on SDH technology, launched by Beijing Raytrans Digital Technology Co., Ltd. It is optimized for large-user access and provides access and transmission of multiple services. It meets the needs of users for broadband and narrowband fiber access, while also satisfying larger capacity requirements and providing more reliable communication protection. The IDM MSTP8200 is designed according to the functional modules defined in Recommendation G.783, providing complete service monitoring, access, protection, and network management functions inherent to SDH equipment, as well as Ethernet access functions required by MSTP equipment.
The IDM MSTP8200 Integrated Service Transmission Equipment is an STM-N level multi-service SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) optical transmission system with SDH and EOS technologies at its core, fully compliant with ITU-T standards. It provides STM-16/STM-4/STM-1 optical interfaces, Gigabit Ethernet ports based on EOS technology, E1 interfaces, and supports various 64K services including FXS/FXO, V.35/V.24, hotline, and magneto. It can also access video signals for convenient video surveillance system setup. The equipment features ITU-T G.813 standard network element timing, VC-12 cross-connect, and channel protection functions. Additionally, the IDM MSTP8200 can serve as an add-drop multiplexer or terminal multiplexer for building point-to-point, point-to-multipoint chain and ring transmission networks. The entire unit adopts a card-insertion structure, allowing configuration of different quantities and types of service cards as needed, reducing initial investment and facilitating future expansion, upgrades, and maintenance.

nEach group provides 1 reserved expansion Ethernet port; used with 8FE card to expand Ethernet interface count;
u Provides 5-in-1 2-wire audio card: 3U-8MVOICE; each card provides 8 channels of 2-wire audio; each channel can be configured as FXO/FXS/hotline/magneto/2100 magneto mode;
u Can insert radar data access card, each card provides 4 radar data service interfaces, supporting synchronous and asynchronous modes. In synchronous mode, transmission rates support 300bps/600bps/1.2kbps/2.4kbps/4.8kbps/9.6kbps/19.2kbps/38.4kbps/57.6kbps/64kbps/115.2kbps/128kbps; in asynchronous mode, maximum rate 38.4kbps, with auto-negotiation below 38.4kbps;
u Clock source selectable: line clock, external clock (2Mbit/s or 2MHz), or free-run;
u Provides 10 user slots for various service cards, supporting access of PDH, E1, FXO/FXS, V.24/V.28/V.35, EM2/4, hotline telephone, magneto telephone, high-fidelity audio, X.50, and 10M/100M Ethernet voice and data services;
u Can insert 3UMPCONV user optical port expansion card and WG300 signaling exchange card;
u Standard model supports repeaterless transmission distance of 40 km; longer distances can be customized;
