Overview
The IDM MSTP8000 Multi-Service Transport Equipment is a new-generation access-type optical-electrical integrated transmission equipment based on SDH technology, launched by Beijing Raytrans Digital Technology Co., Ltd. It is optimized for large-subscriber access and provides access and transmission of multiple services. It meets the fiber access requirements of broadband and narrowband services for a wide range of users, while also satisfying the needs of larger-capacity users and providing more reliable communication protection. The IDM MSTP8000 Multi-Service Transport Equipment is designed according to the functional modules defined in the G.783 recommendation, providing comprehensive service monitoring, access, protection, and network management functions inherent to SDH equipment, as well as the Ethernet access functions required of MSTP equipment.
The IDM MSTP8000 Multi-Service Transport Equipment is a multi-service SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) optical transmission system at the STM-N level, with SDH and EOS technologies at its core. Its technical performance fully complies with ITU-T standards. This equipment provides up to 4 STM-16/STM-4/STM-1 optical interfaces, supports up to 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports based on EOS technology (4 channels sharing a maximum bandwidth of 8 VC4s), 16 E1 interfaces, and also supports various 64K services including FXS/FXO, V.35/V.24, hotline, and magneto telephone. It can also access video signals for convenient video surveillance system deployment. The equipment features ITU-T G.813 standard network element timing, VC-12 cross-connection, and channel protection functions. In addition, the IDM MSTP8000 Multi-Service Transport Equipment can serve as an Add-Drop Multiplexer (ADM) or Terminal Multiplexer (TM) for building point-to-point, point-to-multipoint chain, and ring transmission networks. The entire unit adopts a plug-in card structure, allowing configuration of different quantities and types of service boards and plug-in cards according to actual requirements, which reduces initial investment and facilitates future expansion, upgrades, and maintenance.
