I. Overview

This solution provides complete high-speed wireless communication transmission, audio/video converged communication, and satellite positioning functions between 2 fire trucks and 1 command vehicle, while ensuring communication transmission security and reliability, enabling dynamic display on one platform and one map. It provides real-time visibility of vehicle dynamic information at the firefighting and rescue scene.

II. System Functions

This system consists of 1 command vehicle and 2 fire trucks. The command vehicle and fire trucks are interconnected via wireless communication (LTE coverage or MESH ad hoc network). The command vehicle serves as a mobile command center, enabling voice communication, video communication, and control/management functions with the fire trucks.

The system implements the following functions:

(1). Supports voice and video communication between the command vehicle and 3 fire trucks;

(2). Supports dispatching fire truck surveillance camera video during voice/video calls between the command vehicle and fire trucks;

(3). The command vehicle can view video returned from onboard surveillance cameras of 2 fire trucks, or perform voice monitoring;

(4). Fire truck driving trajectories can be reported to the command vehicle in real time;

(5). According to actual requirements, the wireless communication method between the command vehicle and fire trucks can be selected as 4G LTE coverage or MESH ad hoc network;

(6). Vehicles are equipped with highly integrated onboard individual terminals: supporting satellite positioning, POE power supply, and access to onboard POE cameras and other POE intercom terminals. Optional MESH communication module or LTE communication module, supporting built-in 20000mAh battery, customizable 12~17-inch touchscreen, and supporting audio/video communication with the command vehicle.

III. Communication Transmission Functions

3.1 4G LTE Coverage

(1). Communication distance: 5-10km in open areas, 3-5km in suburban areas, 1-3km in urban areas with severe building obstruction. The main vehicle (command vehicle) is equipped with a lifting mast to enhance coverage distance;

(2). LTE vehicle terminals and LTE vehicle base stations use a dedicated 600M frequency band;

(3). LTE vehicle terminals and LTE vehicle base stations provide encrypted communication, supporting terminal authentication and link authentication to ensure information security.

(4). The 4G LTE communication solution topology is shown in Figure 1 below:

3.2 MESH Ad Hoc Network

(1). The single-hop communication distance supported by MESH communication is: 100300 km (line of sight), 130 km (urban areas); UAV airborne equipment can also be used for relay to extend communication distance and fill communication blind zones;

(2). MESH vehicle terminals and MESH vehicle base stations provide DES encrypted communication, with optional AES128/256 encrypted communication.

The MESH ad hoc network communication solution topology is shown in Figure 2 below:
