IDM-Video16 Video Optical Terminal

The IDM-Video16 digital video optical terminal transmits 16 channels of video services over fiber optic media using advanced digital video fiber optic transmission technology, while also supporting RS232 and RS485 data transmission. The IDM-Video16 employs pure digital uncompressed technology, enabling high-quality transmission of any high-resolution motion or still images.

The IDM-Video8, IDM-Video4, IDM-Video2, and IDM-Video1 digital video optical terminals support 8, 4, 2, and 1 channels of video service transmission respectively, with all other features identical to the IDM-Video16.

Key Features:

• Supports 16 channels of audio/video transmission, 4 channels of transparent E1 transmission, and 4 channels of high-fidelity audio in a single optical direction;
• Compatible with fully digital uncompressed transmission for PAL, NTSC, and SECAM video standards;
• No electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), or common-ground loop interference;
• No intermodulation interference as found in analog FM, PM, and AM optical terminals;
• Supports RS232, RS422, RS485 and other data interfaces, user-configurable;
• Unique lightning protection design for data ports.
