The IDM NTD4102 Telephone Optical Terminal is a desktop-type multi-service fiber optic communication device with the following features:
- Dual optical port design, supporting ADM chain network functionality. SFP optical modules allow convenient selection of single-mode/multi-mode, single-fiber/dual-fiber, wavelength, transmission distance, and other parameters.

The optical terminal supports transmission of two physically isolated Ethernet channels over fiber (by default, 100M is shared over fiber; VLAN partitioning between Ethernet interfaces is available upon request at the time of ordering, and the optical module will also differ).
The IDM NTD4102 optical terminal can provide 2 channels of RS485 transparent transmission (this configuration is not included by default and must be specified when ordering).
The IDM NTD4102 optical terminal can be used in point-to-point mode, and the timeslots for 10 telephone channels can be selected via DIP switches.

The IDM NTD4102 optical terminal can provide 1-4 channels of serial server plug-in cards, aggregated at the central end through the first network channel.
This optical terminal is powered by a default +5V power supply with an external AC220V power adapter, and can also support +24V and -48V power inputs upon request.
This optical terminal supports bidirectional dual signaling and telephone polarity reversal functionality. It also supports elevator intercom interfaces.
