IDM-NT202EM Desktop Dual-Channel EM 2/4-Wire Audio Optical Terminal
The EM optical terminal provides 2 channels of 2/4-wire EM interfaces and 1 channel of line-rate 100M Ethernet interface. The IDM-NT202EM optical terminal extends data services to various subscriber areas, serving as a substitute for remote small exchanges, enabling cross-boundary subscriber provisioning, and alleviating the load on switching offices; alternatively, it resolves the limitations of twisted pair in terms of bandwidth and transmission distance within urban areas, expanding the service coverage of switching offices. This EM optical terminal device can be widely applied in telecommunications data services, electric power, banking, public security, military, schools, highways, and other sectors for public switched telephone network access and dedicated line information transmission.

Product Features:
- Desktop-type chassis structure design with high integration and compact size;
- 1 channel of dual-fiber (single-fiber) optical channel;
- Provides 2 channels of EM interfaces;
- 1 group of 100M Ethernet channel;
- Complete alarm indication functions;
Technical Specifications:
★ The EM 2/4-wire subscriber interface mainly performs: conversion between subscriber voice signals and ST-BUS backplane signals; audio 2/4-wire mode configuration; transmit/receive gain configuration; conversion between EM signaling line status signals and digital signaling; and provides identification and status information for network management;
★ Primarily used for the transmission of 2-wire and 4-wire audio or carrier signals, as well as the forwarding of 2100Hz magneto trunk circuits; it can also be used for interconnection between switches equipped with E&M signaling trunk interfaces. In some scenarios, it is also used in conjunction with FXO cards to accomplish specific functions;
★ The transmit gain from the local subscriber to the remote end (referred to as forward gain: from TIP, RING to DX) can be set in real time via the network management system; while the reverse gain can be configured via bits 2 to 4 of the DIP switch;
★ Gain adjustment range:
The forward gain for EM 2-wire: 5.0dB to -9.5dB, 8 steps in total, 2dB per step.
The reverse gain for EM 2-wire: 1.5dB to -8.5dB, 8 steps in total, 2dB per step.
The forward gain for EM 4-wire: 5.0dB to -9.5dB, 8 steps in total, 2dB per step.
The reverse gain for EM 4-wire: 1.5dB to -8.5dB, 8 steps in total, 2dB per step.
When the local end of the EM 2/4 card sends signaling to the remote end, the corresponding status LED on the front panel illuminates.
