II. System Functions

2.1 Basic Device Functions

The device provides the following functions and service interfaces:

(1) Hardware module for softswitch server with integrated converged dispatch software platform;

(2) Dual redundant power supply design, supporting optional AC 220V and DC -48V;

(3) The device enables interconnection between SIP softswitch and program-controlled switching for converged communication, supporting the following trunk interfaces:

Supports IP interfaces with SIP signaling;

Supports E1 digital trunk interfaces with NO.1, No.7, PRI, R2, and V5.2 signaling;

Supports FXO analog trunk interfaces.

(4) The device supports access and converged dispatch of multiple dispatch terminals, with corresponding interfaces as follows:

Supports shortwave and ultrashortwave radio interfaces;

Supports fax interfaces, utilizing FXS interfaces for fax;

Supports audio broadcast interfaces;

Supports analog telephone interfaces (FXS);

Supports magneto telephone interfaces;

Supports IP interfaces for IP phones, IP video streams, etc.;

(5) Supports recording and video recording functions:

Recording is performed by the soft dispatch platform, with optional 4-channel/8-channel recording cards.

(6) Supports installation of storage hard drives or external storage devices;

(7) Software functions: Human-machine interactive converged dispatch software platform

2.2 Key Device Technologies

(1) Softswitch technology

(2) Program-controlled switching technology

In this device, program-controlled switching primarily handles voice switching, signaling processing, and related functions. The shortwave and ultrashortwave radio voice channels, fax channels, audio broadcast channels, analog telephone channels, and magneto telephone channels each constitute an independent 64K channel. Additionally, signaling processing and switching on the 2M interface support NO.1 and PRI signaling.

(3) Gateway technology

The device supports converged access of various dispatch terminals, providing access for shortwave and ultrashortwave radio voice, fax, audio broadcast, analog telephone, and magneto telephone, enabling conversion of various voice signals to IP.

(4) Interconnection trunk technology

The system needs to be compatible with softswitch IP networks and traditional TDM switching networks, enabling interconnection functions with SIP signaling interfaces (IP), E1 digital trunk interfaces, and FXO analog trunk interfaces.

2.3 Device Structure

The device features a 19-inch, 7U (with the fan unit occupying 1U height) chassis with 16 slots, of which dual power supplies occupy two slots and the remaining 14 slots are service slots for inserting various dispatch and terminal service boards.
