IDM-ENT448 Centralized Telephone Optical Multiplexer
IDM-ENT448 Centralized Multi-Service Optical Multiplexer, 19-inch 4U standard rack-mount chassis; IDM-ENT448 Centralized Multi-Service Optical Multiplexer provides dual -48V power supply; 10 service card slots; each service card provides 4 Ethernet ports, 4 E1 interfaces, and 8 telephone interfaces.
Overview:
The IDM-ENT448 centralized telephone optical terminal utilizes the fiber interface, digital trunk interface, or analog subscriber interface resources equipped on the central office switch to extend voice and data services to various subscriber areas through the IDM device, serving as a substitute for remote small exchanges, enabling cross-boundary subscriber provisioning, and deferring the construction of switching offices; alternatively, it resolves the constraints of twisted pair in terms of frequency band and transmission distance within urban areas, thereby expanding the service coverage of the switching office.
