Overview
The IDM Integrated Multiplexer is a compact, portable multimedia dispatch terminal that integrates SDH communication, mobile communication, radio communication, user telephones (FXS), and loop trunks (FXO). Through advanced digital voice processing and network encryption transmission technologies, it seamlessly connects two-way radios, VHF/UHF radios, HF radios, traditional PSTN phones (Public Switched Telephone Network), IP softphones, and traditional IP phones into a unified dispatch system network. It can be used standalone, paired with a dispatch console, or deployed as a remote cluster access gateway in large dispatch systems. It enables long-distance wireless two-way communication and bidirectional voice interoperability between wireless devices and wired terminals, effectively solving challenges in wireless network interconnection, dispatching, management, and large-scale networked dispatching. Suitable for environments such as border outposts, vehicles, and ships, it supports integration into existing dispatch systems for long-distance, large-scale wireless networking communication.
The IDM Integrated Multiplexer adopts full digital information processing technology, exceeding national performance standards. It supports both traditional PSTN telephone interfaces and SIP standard protocol and H.323 protocol IP phones. With strong configuration flexibility and broad application adaptability, it features a 19-inch 3U rack-mounted design.

Typical Configuration
The IDM Integrated Multiplexer can support up to 12 wireless radio devices, including HF (shortwave), VHF (UHF) single-sideband radios, 350M and 800M cluster two-way radios.
The trunk interfaces can be:
- GSM/CDMA interface
- WAN port supporting electrical interface (RJ45) or optical interface (FC) (for IP phone access channel)
- Standard telephone trunk interface
- Standard magneto interface or 2100Hz magneto interface
The default number of interfaces for connecting standard telephones or wired intercom terminals is 20 (10 per module).
Functional Description
- Full intercom capability among all wired intercom terminals
- All wired intercom terminals and telephones can monitor and speak to any one or multiple wireless clusters
- Extension phones can dial external calls via standard telephone interface, GSM/CDMA, or IP trunk
- Any two or more wireless radios or clusters can be bridged
- Supports group call function: when an external call arrives, all phones in the same group call ring simultaneously; any phone that answers stops the ringing of others. If two or more external calls arrive simultaneously, the highest priority call is answered first, and other phones continue ringing
- External calls are always answered in priority order; for calls of equal priority, they are answered in the order of ring arrival
- Typically, wired intercom terminals have higher priority than internal phones; high-priority users can interrupt low-priority users' cluster transmission rights

The dispatch service is extended to remote locations via SDH optical interface and optical-electrical integrated terminal, greatly expanding the application range. It enables video calls between non-adjacent nodes.
In remote areas beyond the coverage of the IDM Integrated Multiplexer, an IDM-M2000 dispatch terminal is configured to further extend the dispatch management range.
A MCU server and video conference terminal are configured at the dispatch center to establish a local video conference system, and can connect video and audio ports to an upper-level video conference center.
