The main advantages of this SDH Optical Terminal include: providing 252×252 VC-12 level non-blocking cross-connect, supporting unidirectional, bidirectional, and broadcast services. The IDM MUX300 SDH Optical Terminal can provide 4 groups of physically isolated EoS Ethernet, each with a bandwidth of N×VC12 (N=1~50) configurable; each group also provides 1 reserved extended Ethernet port; when used with the 8FE board, the number of extended Ethernet interfaces can be increased.
