19-inch 6U Standard Chassis, Up to 240 Telephone Lines, High-Capacity PCM Equipment
IDM-240 PCM Equipment is a PCM Multiplexing Equipment that utilizes dedicated large-scale integrated circuits to process up to 8 E1 signals. It adopts a 19-inch 6U standard chassis with 13 slots (2 CMU slots, 8 USER slots, 2 PRU slots, and 1 expansion slot). The IDM-240 PCM Equipment can provide 240 user interfaces, and the user cards can be flexibly configured with more than 20 types of interface cards as required. Meanwhile, a PDH optical interface module can be inserted into the multifunctional slot to achieve multiplexing of broadband and narrowband services over E1 or fiber, making it a multi-service integrated platform for PCM multiplexing and Ethernet access. The 240 user interface services provided by the IDM-240 PCM Equipment can be transmitted over 8 E1 directions. It can be flexibly combined with the IDM-120 series, IDM-30 series, and IDM-mini series to form various networks, such as chain, star, and tree topologies. This PCM equipment also supports multiple clock modes, including master clock, external clock, line clock, and user clock, and can be configured as a switch interface or user interface, compatible with both central office and remote end applications. The IDM-240 PCM Equipment can be intelligently configured and managed for service networking through the NetGuard network management software, allowing flexible allocation of timeslots at each station and real-time monitoring of equipment operation status at any time.
