
PCM Equipment IDM MUX8 Integrated Service Multiplexer
The IDM MUX8 Integrated Service Multiplexer provides dual E1 interfaces, adopts a 19-inch 1U standard chassis, with 4 slots plus 1 expansion slot, optional 220V/-48V dual power supply, and supports FXS/FXO, magneto, EM 2/4-wire, RS232/RS422/RS485 and other services. The two E1 groups can be configured in mutual backup or timeslot extraction mode.

I. Overview
The IDM MUX8 Integrated Service Multiplexer is an integrated multiplexing transmission equipment developed by our company. It transmits N×64K data services over the E1 transmission channel while simultaneously supporting 8 channels of 64K voice and data services.
The IDM-MINI8 adopts a standalone structure, which can convert 10/100Base-T Ethernet, voice, V.35, V.24 and other services into E1 data streams for transmission over E1 channels. It is suitable for extending the working distance of interfaces through microwave, DDN private network and other channels, thereby expanding the service coverage.

Ø The two E1 groups can be configured in mutual backup or timeslot extraction mode;

Ø Supports wide-range voltage input: DC -48V or AC 220V, or dual power supply;
Ø Can be used as an optical modem or interface converter.
