Overview:

The IDM-120A Integrated Service Cross-Connect Multiplexer realizes non-blocking full cross-connect multiplexing of 120 channels of 64K services over 4 groups of E1. It adopts a 19-inch 3U standard chassis with a plug-in structure for convenient maintenance and management.

The entire unit can be configured with:
1 E1 Central Management Unit (CMU) card (mandatory), 15 User cards (USER), and a DC power card or AC power card. The CMU card provides 4 groups of E1 interfaces and manages and controls the E1 interfaces and USER cards. Either the DC power card or AC power card can be selected, or dual power supply (DC and AC) can be configured. Each USER card provides 8 user interfaces, and the transmit/receive gain of each voice channel can be adjusted externally on the user card panel, supporting hot-swap. The service types provided by USER cards are divided into voice, data, and video. USER cards include FXO card, FXS card, hotline telephone card, EM 2/4-wire audio card, magneto telephone card, 2100Hz magneto telephone card, high-fidelity audio card; V.24/RS485 data card, V.24 synchronous clock adaptive card, co-directional 64K card, 10Base-T Ethernet card, n×64K/V.35 data card; H.263 video card, MPEG4 video card, etc. The entire network supports unified network management, with both serial and Ethernet network management interfaces available.

Based on the functional features of IDM-120A, an optical transmission card is added. Each optical transmission card provides 1 high-speed optical port, 4 transparent E1 interfaces, and 4 100M Ethernet interfaces with VLAN partitioning capability. Other functions are the same as the IDM-120A.

IDM-120AM Integrated Service Cross-Connect Multiplexer

Based on the IDM-120A, an SDH loop protection access card (SDH card) is added. The SDH card provides loop protection functionality and 24 groups of transparent E1 transmission interfaces. Other functions are the same as the IDM-120A.

◆ Flexible Configuration of Multi-functional Interfaces
Built-in 4 multi-timeslot card channels. It can accommodate N×64K bandwidth V.35 cards and 10BASE-T cards. The multi-timeslot card channels can also be used to provide high-speed asynchronous RS232 or RS485 interfaces. The V.35 card can operate in both DTE and DCE modes, providing cost-effective multi-timeslot user interface cards such as V.35 and 10Base-T.

◆ Multiple Clock Modes
Can be set to master clock, external clock, line clock, or user clock modes, and can be configured as switch interface or user interface, compatible for both local and remote ends.

◆ Flexible Networking Capability
Provides E1 line transmission and reception in four transmission directions, and can be used in conjunction with the IDM-240 series, IDM-120 series, IDM-30 series, and IDM-mini series. Users can freely choose according to different capacity requirements and application scenarios, offering flexible, economical, and reliable networking.

◆ Network Management Function
Features simple and comprehensive network management functions. It can perform device configuration, query, fault statistics management, etc. The network management interfaces are available in both RS232 and RS485 formats. When RS485 is used, multiple devices can be daisy-chained simultaneously, and it also provides rack alarm output.

◆ Comprehensive Monitoring and Alarm Functions
The host can issue audible alarms when the E1 status changes; panel indicator lights can display specific alarm states; the device can also output rack alarm information; the network management system can monitor device status at any time.

◆ Dual Power Supply and Dual Ringing Current Backup
Optional dual power supply and dual ringing current modules. The power supply operates in half-power mode, extending the service life of the power supply. Additionally, if one module is damaged, the system can still operate normally.
