The IDM MSAP8000 Integrated Service Transmission Equipment is an STM-16/STM-64 multi-service transport device that fully considers the diversity of network services and changes in network architecture. It inherits Raytrans' technical advantages and experience in the SDH/MSTP field while endowing the SDH equipment with new technical connotations. The IDM MSAP8000 Integrated Service Transmission Equipment integrates ADM, DXC, Ethernet switch, and PCM functions into a single unit, providing high-capacity, long-distance service transmission. It can be applied to the construction and expansion of various transmission backbone networks as well as large-capacity metropolitan area service scheduling, meeting the bandwidth requirements of different fields and levels. It is an ideal device for building broadband transport networks.

Superior Scalability: As a 2.5G system, the IDM MSAP8000 can be smoothly upgraded to a 10G system, while providing more powerful 64K/2M/155M/622M access capabilities as well as GE/FE data service access capabilities.

Powerful Timeslot Cross-connect Capability: The IDM MSAP8000 features large-capacity high-order and low-order scheduling capabilities, providing a maximum high-order cross-connect capacity of 160G and low-order cross-connect capacity of 20G. When operating as a 10G system, the equipment supports up to 4 10G optical directions; when operating as a 2.5G system, it supports up to 16 2.5G optical directions.

Powerful Multi-service Access, Aggregation, and Scheduling Capability: The IDM MSAP8000 is equipped with abundant service slots, supporting up to 14 service slots, fully meeting the requirements of complex networking. The equipment supports high-density 10G, 2.5G, 622M, 155M, GE, FE, and PCM service boards, achieving industry-leading performance. A single device supports a maximum of 420 E1 channels, 300 channels of 64K PCM services, and 64 155M optical directions.

High Reliability, Multiple Means to Ensure Service Security: Supports dual-bus architecture, 1+1 hot backup for boards, 1:N protection for tributary boards, power supply protection, etc.; fully supports all protection schemes recommended by ITU-T.

Efficient Data Service Processing Capability: The IDM MSAP8000 provides various data interfaces based on traditional SDH equipment, such as EOS, PCM, etc.

Reasonable Design for Easy Operation and Maintenance: Supports mixed insertion of boards, pluggable optical modules (SFP modules, LC connectors), ALS function, and online optical power detection on optical ports for rapid fault location. The equipment features high integration density, reducing floor space costs; low power consumption, reducing electricity expenses.
