Operating Instructions

(1). Answering a call: When an external call comes in, the telephone rings. Lift the handset upward from the handset cradle to go off-hook and answer the call. After the call is finished, place the handset back on the cradle to hang up.

(2). Making a call: Lift the handset upward from the telephone to go off-hook. Once you hear the dial tone, proceed to dial. Wait for the ringback tone while waiting for the called party to answer. If you hear a busy tone, press the redial key to redial the last dialed number. To dial a new number, press the "Hang-up" key, and dial after hearing the dial tone.

After the call is finished, place the handset back on the cradle to hang up.

Note: During a call or when asking someone to answer the call, the handset must not be placed on the cradle, otherwise the telephone will automatically hang up. After the call is finished, the handset must be placed back on the cradle for the next call.

Emergency Call

n In case of an emergency, lift the handset from the telephone and press the "Emergency Call" key to establish direct communication between the user and the dispatcher. Under normal circumstances, users must not press the "Emergency Call" key.

n The telephone can only implement emergency calling when the connected dispatch switch supports the emergency call function. The telephone can be configured with an emergency call signaling frequency arbitrarily set within the range of "0-9" and "A-D", based on the emergency call frequency signals that the connected dispatch switch can receive.

Maintenance and Care

(1). Strictly operate under the specified working conditions, avoiding strong vibration and impact to the telephone.

(2). The ruggedized telephone should be regularly brought to the surface for inspection and repair, with emphasis on checking the emergency call, dialing, conversation, and ringing functions;

(3). The ruggedized telephone features an emergency call function, with emergency call number B (frequency combination: 770Hz, 1633Hz);

(4). The SIP telephone features redial and hang-up functions.
