On December 3, the Jiangsu Provincial Communications Administration and the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development jointly held a review meeting on the construction standards for fiber-to-the-home communication supporting facilities in residential communities. Experts from five organizations, including the Research Institute of Southeast University's Architectural Design Institute and Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, formed the review panel. In addition to the review panel experts, representatives from the Provincial Posts and Telecommunications Planning and Design Institute and the three telecommunications operators also attended the review meeting.

At the meeting, the drafting group for the construction standards for residential community communication supporting facilities first introduced the background, process, and specific content of the standard development. The review panel conducted a chapter-by-chapter examination of the standard, raised questions to the drafting group regarding any ambiguities, pointed out specific issues, and proposed revision suggestions. Ultimately, the review panel unanimously agreed that the standard passed the review and recommended that the drafting group refine and improve the standard based on the specific opinions raised at the meeting, finalize a submission draft as soon as possible, and submit it to the competent administrative authority for approval and release in accordance with relevant procedures.
