Enterprise External Line Telephone Recording Management System
I. User Requirements:
A certain organization uses a program-controlled switchboard line or carrier external line and needs to extend recording management functions for each telephone. The recording management requires that the recording server must be deployed within the enterprise (not in the carrier's cloud data center). Telephone recording can be performed locally on the telephone, but a centralized recording server must be provided. In addition, the telephones must have a unified clock function with time synchronization.
Telephone requirements are as follows:
(1). Clear and loud voice quality, free from crosstalk, noise, echo, intermittent audio, and howling;
(2). Support one-key dialing, flash function, hold function, surface-mounted battery caller ID, telephone recording, voice announcement, and other functions;
(3). Support dual interfaces and extension station support; basic functions must operate normally without batteries.
(4). FSK and DTMF caller ID compatible with automatic detection and recognition;
(5). Support no fewer than 40 groups of incoming call queries and 20 groups of outgoing call queries.
Recording system requirements are as follows:
(1). Support no fewer than 100 channels of telephone recording;
(2). Recording must support query by user and date;
(3). Recording retention time greater than 1 year, with automatic cyclic erasure by date.
II. Requirements Analysis:
Due to the extensive functional requirements of the telephone, it is difficult to find a fully matching product on the market; therefore, this is a customized telephone. Our company's [IDM MCC520 telephone](https://
The recording system requirements are relatively modest. Recording can be performed on the telephone and then transmitted to the recording server, or recorded in real time. The recording server supports recording retrieval and playback. System performance can easily support more than 100 channels of recording and has expansion capability.
III. System Architecture:
In addition to the telephone line, the system requires the telephones and the recording server to be connected via a local area network. The recording server must have secure login and usage measures. The system block diagram is as follows:

IV. System Expansion Capability:

Through the above design, the system not only meets the user's basic requirements for telephone recording management but also possesses strong expansion capability, enabling it to adapt to more functional requirements in the future.
