PCM Equipment Star Network Application Solution
User Requirements:
The transmission circuit from the prefecture-level secondary network equipment room to county/district sites shall be implemented by leasing the operator's local network circuit.
The installation and commissioning of the transmission and its supporting equipment shall be completed by the selected operator.
The operator selected for this project provides 155M transmission circuits, with each county/city occupying 8*2M transmission circuits. The red network call requires a transmission channel of 1*2M, and the dynamic environment monitoring requires 5*2M transmission channels, of which dynamic environment data collection and upload requires 1*2M, HD video surveillance upload requires 4*2M, and each county/city reserves 2*2M backup transmission channels. Each county/city requires a total of 8*2M transmission channels, all encrypted within the 155M channel.
Based on service requirements, network coverage hierarchy, and overall planning, each county/city node shall be configured with 4 sets of remote PCM24-line equipment. The prefecture-level central office shall be configured with 1 set of PCM128-line equipment, and a new PCM integrated network management system shall be established in the prefecture-level equipment room to centrally manage PCM equipment across all counties/cities in the prefecture. PCM spare parts are not reserved in this project phase and will be reserved in the later maintenance project.
This project builds transmission circuits from the prefecture-level equipment room to county-level PCM access equipment rooms by leasing operator circuits, encrypted using encryption machines. For routes within 3 kilometers from the newly built county-level PCM access equipment rooms to county-level government agencies and reception hotels, communication cables shall be directly laid from the newly built county-level PCM access equipment rooms to the user premises.
Requirements Description:
When building a communication network, an E1 transmission-based communication network is primarily adopted. As a supplier of excellent communication products and a solution provider, Beijing Raytrans Digital Technology Co., Ltd. has launched PCM service communication equipment based on E1 transmission. This communication equipment serves as the node cross-connect device, enabling large-capacity service cross-transmission across the entire transmission network and meeting the service transmission requirements of multiple sites.
1 Solution Features
Ø Large service transmission capacity;
Ø Wide variety of service types;
Ø Reliable transmission lines;
Ø Cost-effective investment.
2 Solution Example

Figure 1 Networking Application Diagram
The prominent features of the solution shown in the figure above include:
Ø Large service capacity: One IDM MSAP-G3CP SDH large-capacity integrated service cross-connect multiplexing equipment can support up to 84 IDM MAP4E1-30 integrated service cross-connect multiplexing equipment units;
Ø Each remote IDM MAP4E1-30 integrated service cross-connect multiplexing equipment can provide 4 E1 services and 30 channels of 64K (or Nx64K) user narrowband service access;
Ø Strong hierarchical structure: The working status of subordinate equipment can be monitored in real time through the local equipment panel indicator lights or the network management system, and clear judgments can be made on abnormal conditions occurring in subordinate equipment.
Ø High resource utilization and cost savings: In actual communication service transmission, a large number of primary group circuits have idle timeslots, wasting valuable transmission resources. Through the IDM MSAP-G3CP equipment, service circuits from multiple primary groups can be consolidated into fewer primary groups for transmission, thereby saving transmission lines; the IDM MSAP-G3CP equipment can also aggregate services with the same direction from different circuits for transmission, improving line utilization and effectively reducing capital investment.
Ø Strong network management capability: The network management software system independently developed by our company features comprehensive functionality and simple operation, providing users with a user-friendly interface that facilitates various operations. Dispatchers at the dispatch center can monitor the operating status of various user-side services in real time through the network management system, and can also perform online configuration of services at each site.
Ø Guaranteed transmission reliability: The IDM MSAP-G3CP equipment features 1+1 mutual backup of the main control board and power supply board, ensuring normal communication of all services; other equipment is also designed with protection circuits and fault alarm indicator lights, providing strong basis for diagnosing various faults, effectively shortening fault troubleshooting time and reducing the fault rate.
