Brief:The smart construction site IP broadcast intercom system is mainly used for daily and emergency broadcasting, hazard alerts, background music playback, and other functions. The smart construction site IP broadcast intercom system is mainly used for daily and emergency broadcasting, hazard alerts, background music playback, and other functions. The IDM MCC200 is a waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion-resistant IP telephone. It can connect with standard SIP softswitch systems for telephony interworking, and can also be used in conjunction with the Dispatch Console to implement dispatch operations such as point-to-point calls, broadcast calls, multicast calls, forced release, barge-in, transfer, monitoring, conferencing, recording, roll call, polling, and alarm for each telephone.

The softswitch server and dispatch server can be deployed on the public cloud, and all terminals can be interconnected via the Internet.

Both the server and terminals of this system can be deployed to operate over the Internet. Dispatch Consoles with appropriate permissions can be assigned to each unit to facilitate dispatch operations.

  1. Composition and Functions of the Cloud Dispatch System

The cloud dispatch system consists of cloud switching services, dispatch services, Dispatch Consoles, and telephones.

The supported dispatch functions are as follows:

(1). Call: Pick up the agent handset, press the extension button and the call button to communicate with the selected terminal. Buttons can also be assigned to external lines. Calls can also be made via the on-screen dial pad or the phone's dial pad;

(2). Emergency Call: Pick up the agent handset, press the extension button and the call button to make an emergency call to a terminal connected to the IDM Integrated Digital Multiplexer gateway. The emergency call target is a terminal connected to the IDM gateway, and a ring tone different from a normal call can be generated;

(3). Hang Up: Immediately terminate the call with the selected terminal;

(4). Monitor: Monitor the call of the selected terminal without the other party being aware. It can be applied in modes such as call monitoring and ambient monitoring;

(5). Barge-in: Turn the call of the selected terminal in progress into a three-party conference mode;

(6). Whisper: Speak to the selected terminal in an ongoing call without the other party being aware;

(7). Forced Release: Turn the call of the selected terminal in progress into a call with the console, and the other party is forcibly disconnected;

(8). Transfer: Transfer the call of the selected terminal to a specified terminal (blind transfer).

(9). Consultative Transfer: Before transferring an incoming call to a specified extension, first consult the extension. It is commonly used when transferring calls to important leaders or important locations.

(10). Roll Call: Used to call all extensions in a group once. After connection, a pre-recorded voice is played. The agent telephone can monitor and interject, and finally provide call statistics records. It can also be used for enterprise roll call, e-commerce sales, etc.;

(11). Polling: Used to call all extensions in a group N times. Each round calls the extensions that were not connected in the previous round. It stops after N rounds or after manual intervention, and finally provides call statistics records. It is commonly used for telephone notification services;

(12). Recording: Records a specified telephone call, automatically stopping when the call is hung up;

(13). Conference: Used to create a temporary conference group for multiple selected extensions, activate it, and switch to the conference group interface. Conference groups can also be created in the contacts interface.

(14). Broadcast: Used to create a temporary broadcast group for multiple selected extensions, activate it, and switch to the broadcast group interface.

(15). Intercom: Used to create a temporary intercom group for multiple selected extensions, activate it, and switch to the intercom group interface.

The cloud dispatch system includes dispatch of telephones and dispatch of amplified broadcasting. It typically includes a softswitch system and dispatch system deployed on a cloud with a fixed IP address, as well as PC terminals for management personnel and Android dispatch terminals for users.

2.1 Structural Features

(1). The telephone housing is made of antistatic ABS plastic, waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion-resistant, with a protection rating of IP54.

(2). The telephone is designed for both desktop and wall mounting, adopting a newly developed hook switch mechanism. There are no movable parts on the telephone.

(3). The keypad consists of fully sealed keys and is equipped with emergency call, hang-up, and redial keys.

2.3 IP Telephone Parameters

(4). Full-duplex intercom function;

(5). Adopts advanced echo cancellation technology;

(6). Adjustable sensitivity of the speaker and microphone;

(7). Optional voice codecs including G.729, G.723, G.711, G.722, G.726, etc.;

(8). The system provides recording and recording output, and recorded files can be retrieved and queried at any time;

(9). Can be configured via the WEB interface;

(10). Can integrate with network surveillance cameras, allowing surveillance images near the telephone to be transmitted to SIP video telephones

(11). Fiber optic interfaces can be customized to replace twisted pair cables for long transmission distances, allowing direct connection to 100M Media Converters and optical Ethernet switches;

2.4 Usage Instructions

(1). Answering a Call: When an external call comes in, the telephone rings. Lift the handset up from the handset cradle to go off-hook and answer the call. After the call, place the handset back on the cradle to hang up.

(2). Making a Call: Lift the handset up from the telephone to go off-hook. After hearing the dial tone, dial the number. Wait for the ringback tone for the called party to answer. If a busy tone is heard, press the redial key to redial the last number dialed. To dial a new number, press the "Hang Up" key, and dial after hearing the dial tone.

After the call, place the handset back on the cradle to hang up.

Note: During a call or when asking someone to answer the call, the handset must not be placed on the cradle, otherwise the telephone will automatically hang up. After the call, the handset must be placed back on the cradle for the next call.

(3). Emergency Call

n In an emergency, lift the handset from the telephone and press the "Emergency Call" key to speak directly with the dispatcher. Under normal circumstances, users must not press the "Emergency Call" key.

n The telephone can only make emergency calls when the Dispatch Switch has the emergency call function. The telephone can be set to any emergency call signaling frequency within the range of "0-9" and "A-D" according to the emergency call frequency signals that the connected Dispatch Switch can receive.

2.5 Maintenance and Care

(1). Strictly operate under the specified working conditions, avoiding strong vibration and impact to the telephone.

(2). The telephone should be regularly brought to the surface for inspection and repair, with emphasis on checking the emergency call, dialing, conversation, and ringing functions;

(3). This unit has an emergency call function, with emergency call number B (frequency combination: 770Hz, 1633Hz);

(4). Equipped with redial and hang-up functions.

  1. Construction Site Ruggedized Amplified Broadcast Terminal

Broadcast terminals at construction sites typically use SIP addressable communication and can be installed in an Internet environment. For ease of use and management, a remote-controlled amplifier and loudspeaker are usually added to the ruggedized telephone, allowing the amplifier and loudspeaker to be replaced according to different amplification distance requirements while addressable management remains unchanged.

The system is installed with a 5W loudspeaker by default, and the amplification operation works at any time.

If a high-power loudspeaker needs to be configured, the amplifier must be remotely powered on before starting broadcasting.

In conjunction with the broadcast server, cloud broadcasting can achieve the following functions:

(1). Scheduled Broadcasting

The SIP broadcast system can play audio files or broadcast files at preset times. It supports regular loop playback, such as automatically playing background music at fixed points in public activity areas.

(2). Full-range Broadcasting

The SIP broadcast internal communication system can support broadcasting, customer service notifications, zone broadcasting, unicast, multicast, etc.

(3). Zone Broadcasting

The SIP network broadcast intercom system can group any broadcast zones, with each group capable of independently playing different audio sources. The volume of each zone can be adjusted independently, and remote management and debugging are supported.

(4). Broadcast Paging

The SIP broadcast intercom system service desk can initiate emergency broadcasts of various information to all zones, multiple zones, or a single zone.

(5). Terminal Broadcast and Hailing

Authorized SIP terminals can make announcements and broadcasts by dialing the broadcast gateway number or the broadcast group number.

(6). Two-way Intercom / Emergency Intercom

Through the broadcast gateway's button functions (including one-touch intercom), a two-way intercom call can be directly initiated to a designated duty extension, which will automatically answer in hands-free mode.

(7). Help Intercom

When guests or entrance doors encounter emergency situations, terminal devices or intercom extensions at each help point can be used to initiate one-touch two-way intercom calls with customer service personnel to contact the monitoring center.

(8). Emergency Trigger Broadcast/Alarm

In the event of a fire or illegal intrusion in a specific area, sensors on the broadcast gateway can automatically trigger the designated zone to send emergency broadcast or alarm signals.

(9). Time Announcement Function

Time announcement can be configured for specific broadcast terminals.
