Scope of Application: Emergency operation of hydraulic elevators

Notes:

A This appendix is for reference only; each unit should develop corresponding emergency rescue methods based on actual conditions;

B Members of the emergency rescue team should hold the Special Equipment Operator Certificate issued by the competent department of special equipment;

C At least 2 rescue personnel are required;

D Emergency rescue equipment and tools: elevator landing door key, common hardware tools, traction wire rope clamp plates, manual hoist, wire rope sling and wire rope clamps, wrenches, hammers, pry bars, etc.

E Ensure personal safety while performing rescue operations.

1. Operating Procedures:

1.1 Cut off the main power supply of the elevator;

1.2 Confirm that the elevator car door is in the closed position;

1.3 Confirm the position of the elevator car and counterweight, and select the landing floor where the elevator is to stop;

1.4 When it is confirmed that the car is within ±30cm of the leveling position, maintenance personnel at the landing floor where the car is stopped should use the landing door unlocking key to open the elevator landing door/car door;

1.5 If the hydraulic elevator is equipped with a speed limiter and safety gear, and the safety gear has been activated, manually operate the upward control valve according to the markings on the pump station valve to move the elevator upward until the safety gear wedges are released and reset, then reset the speed limiter.

1.6 When the car is more than 30cm below the leveling position, manually operate the upward control valve according to the markings on the pump station valve until the elevator car is leveled, then close the ball valve; after confirming leveling, maintenance personnel at the floor where the car is stopped should use the elevator landing door unlocking key to open the elevator landing door/car door;

1.7 When the car is more than 30cm above the leveling position, manually operate the downward control valve according to the markings on the pump station valve until the elevator car is leveled, then close the ball valve; after confirming leveling, maintenance personnel at the floor where the car is stopped should use the elevator landing door unlocking key to open the elevator landing door/car door.
