Audio/Video Command & Dispatch System for High-Speed Railway Construction Sites
Mar 8, 2015
1 Requirements Analysis
Addressing the voice, video, and broadband access service needs along a mountainous high-speed railway construction site, along with the corresponding audio/video command & dispatch system, this solution delivers a complete end-to-end audio/video command & dispatch system covering access, transmission, switching, and terminals along the entire route. It integrates fiber optic transmission, wireless microwave, and 802.11n, among other wired/wireless communication methods, to build an efficient and reliable audio/video command & dispatch system under the complex geographical conditions of the high-speed railway construction site.
2 Solution Features
- A high-bandwidth dedicated communication network as the backbone, enabling two-way audio/video command & dispatch across the entire line;
- Fingerprint/facial recognition attendance system for real-name management at the site, enabling real-time verification of staffing at each post;
- Real-time image storage and transmission at the construction site;
- Integrated management of the wireless trunked intercom system at the site;
- Management systems for large fixed assets and vehicles, with GPS positioning and image detection;
- Emergency command预案 management;
- Mobile dispatch center command vehicle;
- Public address and amplification system;
- Voice/video recording and playback system, fax transmission/reception system;
- On-site dispatch personnel information system, WIFI trunked smart terminals, information boards, and large-screen display;
- Construction progress management, query, and monitoring system, GIS, 3D display, etc.
The construction of the dedicated communication network adopts methods such as laying fiber optic cables/leasing fiber optic cables, as well as wireless microwave transmission, to resolve information transmission at the high-speed railway construction site. Due to the complex geographical location of this project, the site conditions are not suitable for laying fiber optic cables along the entire route by ourselves. Leasing fiber optic cables for the entire route requires price negotiation with operators, and the leasing costs are relatively high. Therefore, the optimal construction approach is to lease operator fiber at key points, lay our own fiber where conditions permit, and simultaneously use line-of-sight wireless microwave relay transmission to complete the construction of the transmission network for the entire link.
