Advantages of optical terminals:

(1) Low signal loss, minimal noise and distortion, high transmission quality, suitable for long-distance transmission. Currently, surveillance optical terminals can transmit image, data, and voice signals over 100 kilometers without relay.

(2) Strong anti-interference capability, unaffected by lightning strikes and electromagnetic radiation, which is not achievable with coaxial cable or twisted pair transmission.

(3) Wide transmission bandwidth, theoretically up to 30 billion megahertz, with large communication capacity, making it highly suitable for video signal transmission.
