Safe City Overview

📅Oct 10, 2012
Brief:A Safe City is about building urban safety and harmony through the three-prevention system (technical prevention system, physical prevention system, and human prevention system). A complete security and technical prevention system is composed of four systems—technical prevention, physical prevention, human prevention, and management—which work together interactively to achieve comprehensive security protection. The security and technical prevention system mainly includes intrusion alarm systems; television monitoring systems; access control systems; electronic patrol systems; parking lot management systems; and explosion-proof security inspection systems.

Safe City utilizes the Safe City integrated management information public service platform, including multiple systems such as urban video surveillance systems, digital city management systems, and road traffic systems, and leverages the city-district level data exchange platform to achieve resource sharing. Front-end system data is collected through video surveillance systems and transmitted to the municipal and district supervision, command, and dispatch centers. The management platform of the supervision, command, and dispatch center consists of database servers, storage servers, management servers, alarm servers, dispatch control servers, streaming media servers, web servers, display servers, and other application servers. In addition to servers, the hardware also includes various monitoring terminals, security products, network products added to expand network coverage, and computer equipment used by grassroots organizations for monitoring. The demand for these products grows rapidly as the coverage of the Safe City system expands. Software solutions, apart from system software such as operating systems and databases, also include various surveillance management platforms, streaming media software, monitoring software, intelligent transportation systems, and electronic police systems.
