Application of MSAP in Large Customer Private Line Access
Over the past two years, Raytrans Digital's MSAP products have been widely applied in telecommunications, China Unicom, China Mobile, radio and television, and residential network operators, providing integrated service access for numerous large customers through this unified access platform. Over two years of practice has proven that Raytrans Digital's MSAP products are continuously creating value for operators in many aspects:
Flexible Access Methods: Raytrans Digital's MSAP products provide various access methods on the user side, including SDH, PDH, and PCM, offering dedicated circuit lines based on N*64k, N*2M, 100/1000, STM-1, and STM-4 to meet the access needs of different customers. Currently, Raytrans Digital provides more than 30 types of service boards to solve various problems operators face at the access layer. For example, the PDH board provided by MSAP has been used to help achieve optical cable expansion between urban and rural networks, solving the issues of increased county-township service capacity and insufficient optical cable resources, with total bandwidth capacity reaching up to 2.5G, further enhancing network access capability. The N*64k processing modules provided by MSAP have also helped China Telecom and China Unicom implement DDN network upgrades in multiple local networks, fully utilizing existing resources and continuing to create value for the two major operators.
Enhanced Network Scalability: Raytrans Digital was the first in the industry to propose the dual-network dual-core network convergence concept, which has gradually been accepted by operators and applied in the live networks of telecommunications, China Unicom, and China Mobile. Currently, the TDM core is mainly used for large customer private line access, while the IP core is used for access by small and medium-sized enterprises and internet cafes. Moreover, through the combined application of dual cores, operators are provided with high-capacity, high-density customer center aggregation solutions. Under the future trend of network IPization, this architecture will greatly expand network access capability, laying the foundation for meeting high-bandwidth, high-capacity access demands and significantly improving operators' return on investment.
Enhanced Network Reliability: In addition to providing device-level protection for various functional modules and ports, Raytrans Digital's MSAP also offers link-level and service-level protection for end customers, meeting customers' continuously upgrading requirements for network reliability, thereby providing strong assurance for operators to enhance customer stickiness and improve customer loyalty.

Enhanced Network Management Capability: With MSAP networking, the access layer of local networks in various cities and counties becomes manageable and operable. By deploying the unified network management platform Netguard system, the previous management difficulties caused by multi-vendor equipment have been effectively resolved, strengthening operators' ability to manage and control the network. In addition, the large customer circuit management module provided by Raytrans Digital offers operators management functions based on large customers, transforming the cold, equipment-based management model into a more user-friendly one, advancing network operation management one step further.
Reduced Investment Costs: Looking only at initial deployment, the investment in MSAP chassis is relatively high, so the first project appears to require a larger investment. However, with the accumulation of large customer projects, the incremental investment for each subsequent project is significantly reduced compared to traditional access models. If the time frame is extended to one year, the annual investment for large customer access is greatly reduced compared to traditional methods. Therefore, in the long run, MSAP significantly reduces operators' network construction costs.
