Connection mode between the digital SPC dispatch console and the public network.
Connection to the public network via digital interface A: outgoing calls require only one dial tone; incoming calls are automatically direct-dialed to extension users or transferred via the dispatch console. Connection to the public network via two-wire loop interface C2: outgoing calls require two dial tones; incoming calls are transferred to extension users via the dispatch console.
Connection mode to the private network:
The digital SPC dispatch console can be connected to the private network via digital interface A or two-wire loop interface C2. However, considering the complexity and non-standardization of private network interfaces, the connection interface between the digital SPC dispatch console and private network switching equipment shall be resolved based on actual conditions and is not specified herein.
Configurable with digital trunk, E&M trunk, and two-wire loop trunk; supports networking with other switches and implements DID, BID,

Subscriber-to-dispatch calls without link blocking
Dispatch calls have priority; regardless of the number of subscribers in off-hook, talking, or dialing state, the dispatcher can directly call subscribers or trunks; subscribers and trunks can directly call or hotline-call the dispatch console.
Provides real-time synchronized recording interface
— When the dispatch switchboard is configured with administrative switching functions, dispatch users shall have priority capability; a certain degree of isolation shall exist between dispatch users and administrative users, and the isolation level shall be configurable;
— The number of trunk routing directions shall be no less than 64, with the capability to process received numbers up to 24 digits;
— Under abnormal conditions (e.g., one-party permanent off-hook, line grounding, short circuit, etc.), automatic locking and recovery shall be provided for trunk lines or subscriber extensions;
— Self-diagnostic positioning and testing functions, capable of performing internal line tests and external line tests on subscriber circuits;

Ringing Tone Category
Function to distinguish ringing tones between dispatch calls and ordinary calls

Dispatch switch Release Mode
1. Non-mutual-control mode is adopted between extension users. When either party hangs up, the call circuit is released after 0.3s. The party that hung up is free, and the other party hears a busy tone.
2. For calls between the dispatch console and extensions or public/private network users, the in-system equipment is released under the control of the dispatch console. When the user hangs up first, the dispatch console automatically re-rings that user until the user answers.
3. Calling-party-control mode or non-mutual-control mode is adopted between extension users and public/private network users.
The dispatch console shall have control and dominance over the use of the communication system, and the dispatch console telephone has the highest priority. The dispatch console can proactively establish or tear down calls between certain users, and can call, barge into, or tear down any user's call.
4. During dispatch and conference processes, users who have hung up can be automatically re-rung.

Maintenance and management of the digital SPC dispatch console
Shall be capable of recording and verifying the dispatcher's name, employee ID, operation permission password, and the time of each login and logout

The dispatch console shall be provided with the following external interfaces:
1) Microphone. In addition to the built-in microphone, an external microphone may be connected. When an external microphone is connected, the built-in microphone is disabled.
2) Loudspeaker. In addition to the built-in speaker, an external power amplifier or powered speaker may be connected. When an external power amplifier or powered speaker is connected, the built-in speaker is disabled.
3) Recording. An external recording interface shall be provided.
 
The left and right handsets of the IDM dispatch console can be connected to IDM intercom terminals.
This terminal supports both telephone mode and wired intercom mode, and is equipped with a gooseneck microphone and built-in speaker. It can also be connected to a headset, and has a speaker output interface, and can dial telephone numbers. It is highly functional.
In wired intercom mode, voice monitoring can be performed in the on-hook state, and conference speaking can be performed in the off-hook state. This requires the switch to set the group to which the terminal belongs to "wired intercom" mode.
Note: Ordinary telephones need to be retrofitted with a wired intercom module.

Additionally, when the dispatch console is powered off or the software is exited, if the console's services have not been set to "merge" with another dispatch console, all calls to this dispatch console will be redirected to a designated extension;
If a dispatch console is set to "merge" mode, during merging, all calls to this dispatch console will be redirected to the designated dispatch console.

Transfer
c) Extension users can be transferred via the dispatch console to users on the public or private network.
d) Incoming external calls can be transferred by the dispatch console to any extension user, or external callers can directly call any extension user in the dispatch system.
 
The dispatch console can transfer incoming calls, enabling the internal or external user currently in conversation with the dispatch console to establish a call with another internal or external user.
The IDM dispatch system can be configured in two modes: extensions cannot directly dial external lines (standard) and extensions can directly dial external lines (non-standard).
Transfers defined by IDM include consultative transfer and blind transfer:
a) Consultative transfer: If party B in conversation with dispatcher A wishes to speak with dispatch console C (or phone D, whether D is internal or external) after the current call ends, dispatcher A can use the transfer function to enable B and C (or D) to successfully connect;
b) Blind transfer: refers to directly connecting the two parties without the dispatch console phone first speaking with the receiving party. The establishment of a hotline between two users can also use "transfer," in which case no conference room is used; this state only requires the dispatch console to establish communication with the first user.
Note: Transfer cannot be used for conference room members such as trunking groups or groups; conference room members can only use the "bridge" command.

"Hold" as defined by IDM:
When a new call arrives or when the dispatcher sees another call in the queue that needs attention, the dispatcher can place the current call on hold in the same group's hold queue, thereby freeing the active phone to handle the other call. A dispatch group can hold up to 20 call parties simultaneously.

Emergency Call
(Urgent Call)
 
An emergency call number should be configured. When a user makes an emergency call, a ring tone distinctly different from other calls shall be generated, and the dispatch console can answer the emergency call with priority.
The IDM dispatch exchange supports both scenarios of user urgent-calling the dispatch console and the dispatch console urgent-calling a user:
1. User urgent-calls the dispatch group: When a user dials the emergency number of the dispatch group, all dispatch consoles in the group will flash red across the full screen, accompanied by an urgent ring tone and an emergency alarm sound from the loudspeaker; all idle telephones in the group will ring. At this point, lifting any ringing telephone will clear the emergency alarm. The emergency call shall be recorded in the log and subject to voice recording.
2. Dispatch console urgent-calls a user: The dispatcher can use the urgent call function by pressing the "Urgent Call" key under the hotkey and then clicking the target user. The outgoing call is displayed prominently in red, distinguishing it from normal calls. Note: The called telephone will ring with a rapid urgent ring tone.

The dispatch console can map one user key to multiple numbers. If the call to the first number fails, it automatically calls the subsequent numbers. The call waiting interval can be set by the dispatch console. Before the interval elapses, the dispatch console can terminate the current call early and switch to calling the next number. Both sequential polling and single-call selection are supported.

The dispatch console can set a user key as a polling group corresponding to multiple numbers. If the call to the first number fails, it automatically calls the subsequent numbers. Roll Call
 
The dispatch console can sequentially call pre-configured roll call numbers. Up to 40 roll call numbers can be configured.

The dispatch console can sequentially call pre-configured roll call numbers. Up to 10 roll call groups can be configured, with each group containing up to 40 numbers. The roll call function is stored in the function area, and a roll call group can be stored as a user key in the user area. When a roll call group is activated, the console first calls the first number; once the call is connected (indicated on the console interface), the called party hangs up, and the console initiates the next call, continuing in sequence. After the last number has been called, the console prompts to end the roll call or re-call unanswered users. If the call times out or the next number is manually selected, the console calls the next user. The roll call timeout can be pre-configured via the console.

Priority level setting function for "group call"
Conference call function
 
1) "Group call" can be assigned priority levels. The dispatching system allows multiple "group calls" to be configured, with each priority level corresponding to only one "group call." A single dispatching console can configure multiple "group calls."
2) The same user may be assigned to group calls of different priority levels. When multiple group calls occur simultaneously, the user is connected to the group call with the highest priority.
3) The dispatching system can initiate multiple "group calls" simultaneously.
a) The dispatching console can call out conference participants via individual call or conference group call, with the ability to add/remove users and perform "roll call."
b) The dispatching console and the conference chair can be two-way users, while conference participants are half/full-duplex call users, with operation control performed by the dispatcher.
c) The dispatching console can exit/rejoin the conference midway (during which the dispatcher no longer controls the conference).
 
The dispatching console can organize conference calls via individual call or group call, including broadcast conferences and multiparty conferences.
— Broadcast conference. The broadcast targets are set by the dispatching console; only the dispatching console can speak, while participants can only listen.
— Multiparty conference. Full-duplex conference in which both internal and external line users can participate. Multiple conference groups can be held simultaneously. The dispatching console can mute, unmute, or disconnect participants, and can also transfer new incoming calls into the conference. If a participant exits the conference early, the dispatching console can re-call them.
User group operations defined by IDM include "individual call," "group call," and "conference."
"Individual call" calls users within a group one by one, such as "roll call" and "polling";
"Group call" rings all users within a group simultaneously, and then connects them to a conference room to answer;
"Conference" includes "intercom" (users control the right to speak), "broadcast conference" (the dispatching console controls the right to speak), and "multiparty conference" (all users can speak freely);
"Intercom" includes "wired intercom" (users' wired terminals can control the duration of the current speech) and "telephone intercom" (each time a telephone user presses the hook switch, that user obtains N seconds of speaking rights.
 
Members can be added or removed at any time during group operations;
