IDM Digital Prison System Solution System Features
Our system is a hardware-based command and surveillance system, with expansion interfaces reserved for future software development. It features the following:
- Full fiber-optic cabling is adopted, providing large bandwidth, strong confidentiality, and high scalability. The main components adopt carrier-class ring network protection, dual-network protection, and dual-system protection schemes. Multiple communication technologies including channel networking and IP routing are employed to effectively ensure system robustness.
- The original audio communication intercom and video surveillance are integrated into the new multimedia digital prison system. The surveillance console enables audio/video monitoring of prison cells and prison areas; visual intercom with offices, guard posts, etc.; multimedia terminal communication (voice, image, text) with mobile guard posts and management personnel; and GPS positioning as well as audio/video intercom for vehicles on external duty.
- Multi-console operation: during busy periods, multiple consoles work in coordination according to management authority; during low workload periods, the tasks of multiple consoles can be consolidated into a single workstation.
- A wide variety of access terminals are supported, such as telephones, SD/HD surveillance cameras, video intercom terminals, perimeter alarm terminals, access control, biometric identification systems, positioning systems, trunked radio intercom, vehicle-mounted terminals, mobile multimedia terminals, and prison all-in-one cards.
- The recording system is a key and challenging aspect of the digital prison system, requiring a large number of recording points, long retention periods, frequent retrieval, and diverse related data types (e.g., personnel files, movement records). We employ multiple servers with detailed categorization, and critical content is recorded simultaneously on dual servers.
- Interoperability with the wireless trunked system is implemented; desktop wired intercom terminals can simultaneously access 2 trunked channels.
- Perimeter alarm and access control: the system features alarm linkage processing. When an alarm occurs, the alarm location is first locked on the electronic map; second, the video and audio surveillance information of that location is output to the relevant consoles; the corresponding access control information is reset; manual intervention initiates the corresponding emergency response plan; and all alarm-related audio, video, control operation status, and personnel location information are recorded in a high-priority event.
- (Extended) Location management for inmates under correction is implemented. The ID number can be verified at any time through biometric information (e.g., face shape, fingerprint). Personnel can be located based on the ID number. Based on the assigned activity ranges and time periods in the database, relevant information can be automatically determined, with real-time alarms for violations. Video sources currently covering the person can also be retrieved at any time based on the ID number. The ID number can also be used for cross-checking and searching with the inmate management all-in-one card. Location information records associated with the ID number require long-term retention for correlation with audio, video, and other information retrieval. Electronic handcuffs
- A communication channel (hotline) between inmates and their relatives can be provided, with recording and retrieval capabilities. Multiple preset recording file naming schemes are available for convenient retrieval.
- A comprehensive information publishing system supports multiple publishing channels, such as audio broadcasting, large-screen display playback, video conferencing, as well as SMS and email. The publishing system supports both real-time broadcasting and scheduled broadcasting.
- An emergency response plan system pre-stores various emergency response plans. When management personnel press the corresponding plan button, the system sequentially initiates various broadcasts/multicasts: first text and display messages, then audio broadcasts, and finally telephone calls arranged by priority.
