Equipment Installation Working Environment Requirements
Environmental Temperature and Humidity Requirements
Excessive humidity can cause poor insulation or even leakage faults in certain insulating materials, leading to corrosion of various metal components of the equipment; excessively low humidity can easily generate static electricity, endangering equipment circuits. Excessive temperature can reduce equipment reliability, accelerate the aging of insulating materials, and long-term operation in high-temperature environments can also affect equipment lifespan. Therefore, to ensure the transmission equipment operates in a good working condition, a certain humidity and temperature level must be maintained in the equipment room.
When humidity is excessively low, the dry shrinkage of insulating gaskets may sometimes cause loosening of fastening screws. Meanwhile, in dry climate conditions, static electricity can easily be generated, endangering equipment circuits. Therefore, when the equipment room is in a relatively low humidity environment, especially when the relative humidity is below 20%, anti-static flooring should be used to strengthen its anti-static measures.
Cleanliness Requirements
To meet the cleanliness requirements of the equipment room, the room should be kept clean, away from pollution sources, with doors and windows sealed. Personnel entering the equipment room should change into work clothes and slippers, and ensure the cleanliness of the work clothes and slippers.
Equipment Power Supply Requirements
The working power fluctuation range for the IDM MSAP-CP equipment is -72V to -36V, with a nominal value of -48V. Since transmission equipment primarily provides transmission paths for communication networks, a power outage can have a wide-ranging impact. Therefore, in addition to power outage protection measures, the DC power distribution system should also be equipped with batteries to stabilize voltage and ensure the stable operation of the transmission equipment.
Construction and Maintenance Power Supply
Since some power tools and instruments are needed during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment, the equipment room should be equipped with a 220V/2000W AC power supply for construction use. The power outlets should be multi-functional sockets with both two-pin and three-pin receptacles.
