As modern communities expand, elevator five-party intercom systems require extended transmission distances. Current methods mainly include FM wireless transmission and GSM mobile network transmission; the former is susceptible to frequency band interference, while the latter can build larger networks but offers lower bandwidth and higher ongoing costs.

Mitsubishi systems use audio signaling, offering longer transmission distances and better sound quality, but at a higher price; Otis-type intercoms use audio and level signaling, with shorter transmission distances and lower prices, typically 200-400 RMB per set for a single channel, achieving high market penetration!

The products feature a modular design, available in models such as 2-channel, 4-channel, 10-channel, 30-channel, and 128-channel (rack-mount type, 8 channels per card). High-capacity equipment is suitable for centralized access during relocation of existing elevator management centers, as well as for the 96333 centralized smart elevator management projects being built in various cities. Low-capacity models feature dual optical ports, facilitating cascade applications.
Raytrans elevator five-party intercom optical terminals (sometimes used as elevator three-party intercom optical terminals) can also provide one channel of line-rate 100M Ethernet (e.g., IDM NT104). Some models can provide two physically isolated line-rate 100M Ethernet channels and an RS485 monitoring channel (e.g., IDM NTD4102). The Ethernet channel can provide video surveillance inside the elevator car, while the other physically isolated channel can be provided for customer internet access or leased to video advertisers.
By replacing the transmission card, Raytrans elevator intercom optical terminals can also transmit over leased IP networks, typically using VPN for elevator IP five-party intercom, suitable for smart elevator operators managing elevators over a wider area.
