Main Contents of 2G, 3G Interoperability Engineering Optimization
The main contents of 2G, 3G interoperability engineering optimization include:
(1) 2G/3G network parameter consistency check (cell CGI information, BCCH and BSIC of GSM cells, primary frequency point and scrambling code of TD cells, one-way neighbor cell check between TD and GSM, etc., required once a week)
(2) 2G/3G neighbor cell optimization (mainly to resolve missing neighbor cell configurations, redundant neighbor cell configurations, and unreasonable neighbor cell configurations)
(3) CS domain TD-GSM handover optimization (mainly involving parameters of the 3A handover mechanism decision algorithm and the A handover mechanism decision algorithm: TD system threshold, 3A inter-system threshold, 3A event handover trigger time, 3A event handover trigger hysteresis margin, individual offset, etc.) Different parameter settings will be applied according to different scenarios.
(4) TD-GSM reselection optimization in idle state (mainly optimizing reselection parameters: inter-system measurement threshold, serving cell hysteresis threshold, serving cell reselection time, minimum required received power of the cell, reselection offset, etc.)
(5) PS domain TD-GSM reselection optimization (mainly optimizing parameters involved in the reselection mechanism: RSCP level threshold of the TD system, RxLev level threshold of the GSM system, 3A event handover trigger hysteresis margin, 3A event handover trigger delay, etc.)
(6) GSM-TD optimization, mainly focusing on reasonable settings of Qsearch_I, TDD_Offset, Qsearch, RAT and other values, to ensure that measurements are initiated and corresponding reselection mechanisms are triggered at appropriate times for GSM-to-TD interoperability.
