In various Command & Dispatch System centers or duty rooms in factories and communities, there is often a need for telephone-to-headset communication conversion, enabling dispatch personnel to move away from the Dispatch Console or desk phone to handle other tasks simultaneously. In some applications, the audio played in the left and right earpieces differs.
In office or home environments, it is often inconvenient to answer calls while being tethered to the phone. Using a WIFI headset, Bluetooth headset, or WIFI phone handset allows users to answer calls freely, without being restricted by the length of the handset cord.
The IDM fixed-to-wireless device includes the IDM NT204 (IP), which connects to fixed telephones and can simultaneously provide audio access from 4 telephone lines to Ethernet. The IDM IP-talkie connects to wireless headsets and features dedicated buttons for call pickup (and volume +, volume -).
The IDM NT204 (IP) and IDM IP-talkie can be used independently. When the IDM NT204 (IP) is connected via RJ45 Ethernet, it supports up to 4 fixed telephone conversion interfaces, each corresponding to one IDM IP-talkie for WIFI intercom headset use.

The IDM NT204 (IP) can also provide EM 2/4-wire audio interfaces to convert radio voice signals into IP signals. In this mode, the headset’s pickup button functions as the PTT (Push-to-Talk) switch on a two-way radio.

When the IDM NT204 (IP) is configured with a Bluetooth interface, it provides conversion for 1 telephone voice channel. In this mode, it can directly connect to one Bluetooth headset for communication.

The IDM IP-talkie is a Wi-Fi-to-headset interface terminal that can be worn around the neck like an employee badge. Users can choose their preferred headset style to answer calls. It features an integrated power bank function, allowing charging via a standard mobile phone USB charger. Users can select battery capacity based on their work requirements.

The IDM NT204 (IP) and IDM IP-talkie can be connected to an IoT communication server using IoT protocols. When integrated into a larger IoT platform, they enable additional services such as call recording, location information display, integration with wireless cluster intercom systems, and audio conferencing.
