The IDM-VNT4208 Field Optical Terminal for Integrated Fiber Services is specifically designed by Beijing Raytrans Digital Technology Co., Ltd. for military field communications. It integrates an optical transmission unit and a PCM multiplexing unit, featuring a shock-resistant chassis and service interfaces optimized for field deployment.

The field optical terminal is developed using advanced international integrated circuits, programmable logic circuits, and high-speed microprocessors. Through various service interface cards, it aggregates voice, low-speed data, and video signals into a standard 2M interface. These signals—2M signals, video signals, transparent E1 signals, and line-rate 100M Ethernet signals—are then multiplexed via time-division multiplexing (TDM) onto a 1.25G optical transmission channel. The plug-and-play design enables simple and quick installation without on-site configuration. Both the optical modules and core circuits use standard components, ensuring high stability. All optical and electrical interfaces comply with international standards, making the device suitable for diverse operational environments.
