Exhibition Introduction

     In the face of military operations, sudden major incidents, and natural disasters, military, armed police, public security, transportation, and rescue departments need rapid and effective information communication to understand on-site conditions, make timely and scientific decisions, and mobilize manpower and resources. The emergency command system has emerged in response to this need. Currently, in departments such as the military, armed police, public security, fire protection, civil air defense, rescue, and disease control, how to strengthen informatization construction so that leaders at all levels can make accurate and rapid decisions on emergencies has become an important topic.
     The "Command & Dispatch System" can achieve full-process tracking and support for emergency incident handling. From the reporting of emergencies, collection of relevant data, assessment of urgency, real-time communication, coordinated command, on-site emergency support, and assistance in leadership decision-making, it enables rapid response to sudden crisis events within a short time and provides appropriate response measures and contingency plans. With the aid of various high-tech communication methods such as networks, CALL CENTER, video phones, wireless access, and voice systems, it coordinates all units within the system in a timely manner. The SARS outbreak in 2003 led to trial construction of urban emergency command and dispatch systems, and a snow disaster in early 2008 further promoted the comprehensive deployment of emergency command systems. The emergency command system is a large-scale integrated system built upon public information infrastructure (such as communication networks and computer networks), connecting the business information systems of various related industries (public security, transportation, civil air defense, meteorology, disease control, and the military).
     The construction status of command and dispatch systems reflects a country's overall level of informatization. As China plays an increasingly important role in international affairs, the Olympic Games and National Games have fully demonstrated China's development level in command and dispatch systems. Major events such as the World Expo and the Asian Games will continue to serve as stages for testing the level of China's urban command and dispatch systems. In recent years, the frequent occurrence of natural disasters, terrorist attacks, public health incidents, and production safety accidents has pushed emergency command systems to the forefront. The successive emergencies have made all industries attach unprecedented importance to the construction of emergency command and dispatch systems. Co-hosted by the China Association of Communication Enterprises and the China Computer Users Association, and organized by Beijing Guoke Zhuangxin Technology Development Center, the "2010 China International Command & Dispatch Technology and Equipment Exhibition" will be held from September 19 to 21, 2010, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. The "China International Command Center Construction Summit Forum" will be held concurrently.
