Raytrans Digital Launches New Product - Gigabit Optical Terminal

The IDM-480GE Gigabit Broadband Data Optical Terminal has been in stable pilot operation for one full year. After months of dedicated development by the company's R&D department, the Gigabit Optical Terminal transitioned from laboratory to pilot operation in early 2007 and has been running stably for one year to date. The R&D department has now approved the IDM-480GE Gigabit Broadband Data Optical Terminal for market release.

The IDM-480GE Optical Terminal is one of the series of fiber transmission equipment developed and manufactured by Beijing Raytrans Digital Technology Co., Ltd. The IDM-480GE simultaneously performs the functions of 16 groups of E1 Optical Terminals and a Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter. The IDM-480GE extends 2M Digital Trunk interfaces and broadband Ethernet data over fiber transmission media.

It can be widely applied in enterprises and institutions such as postal services, electric power, railways, water conservancy, oil fields, and banking, as well as private network users.
