Engineer Successfully Resolves Service Channel Issue for Langfang Public Security Fire Brigade
The Langfang Public Security Fire Brigade in Hebei Province reported that services to the squadrons were not working after the CTI standby server was started. They contacted Engineer Lin from the general brigade's O&M team to check the line status and configuration, and were informed that everything was normal. At the brigade's request, the engineer arrived on site in the afternoon. Upon arrival, it was found that the CTI standby server was connected to the telecom link but not to the CP equipment, and the 2M cable had no BNC connector. A pair of wires was sourced on site, and a soldering iron was borrowed from the brigade. The wires were soldered and connected, and the standby link was configured. The brigade was asked to test the data, and it was found that data had been sent down, but service forwarding was abnormal. The issue was traced to mismatched timeslots, which pointed to the CIC number. After contacting the telecom provider, the CIC number was confirmed to be 33. After changing it, the service tested normal.
