What Are the Five Parties in Elevator Five-party Intercom
Elevator five-party intercom refers to the communication among five parties in the elevator intercom system: the management center master station, the elevator car, the elevator machine room sub-station, the elevator car top, and the elevator pit bottom.
The commonly used configuration is the four-core bus system, using RVVP4*0.75 cable.
The five-party intercom is mainly distributed in the following areas: machine room, inspection box, pit box, car, and main control room. Cabling can start from the electrical control box in the machine room and be routed to each area respectively.
The five parties in the five-party intercom are: (1) the duty room with 24-hour manned attendance; (2) the elevator machine room; (3) the elevator car interior; (4) the elevator car top; (5) the elevator pit. When cabling for the five-party intercom, these five parties must be connected according to the design requirements. The cabling in the hoistway can be laid in cable troughs fixed to the hoistway wall (switch the elevator to inspection mode and run the car at slow speed on the car top; pay attention to safety). If there are joints in the middle of the line, an intermediate junction box should be installed.
Generally, the first four parties use the elevator traveling cable: machine room/pit/car interior/car top/duty room. Except for the separate cabling required for the duty room, all other parties are connected with standard cables at the factory and require no additional wiring.
