A single IDM VoiceCable Online Monitoring Equipment provides 30 voice inputs and 30 voice outputs and can monitor 30 telephone lines simultaneously; when more channels are needed, additional expansion enclosures can be cascaded over the unit's cascade bus to increase the test capacity according to the scale of the cabling in the equipment room. In terms of interfaces, the FXO and FXS interfaces use a three-element complex impedance of 200Ω+560Ω//0.1μF and a loop current of 20mA/channel, while the EM 2/4-wire interface and the magneto interface use a balanced 600Ω with a return loss of not less than 18dB, and the audio range of all of them is 300Hz~3400Hz. On the network management side, serial port network management or Ethernet SNMP network management is available, supporting remote O&M.
