1 Scope

This part specifies the overall architecture and system composition of the elevator operation monitoring system, and stipulates the overall requirements of the elevator operation monitoring system, including dedicated terminology, basic service function requirements, and reliability requirements.

This part is applicable to guiding the construction and operation of elevator operation monitoring systems for elevators, escalators, and moving walkways within the scope of Shenzhen Municipality, and serves as the overall technical specification for the elevator operation monitoring system in Shenzhen.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions given in GB 7588 and GB/T 7024, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

3.1 Elevator operation monitoring system

A system that monitors and manages elevator operation and provides related services, hereinafter referred to as the monitoring system.

3.2 Online

The front-end system can collect data normally, communicate properly with the enterprise platform, and transmit data to the enterprise platform.

3.3 Online rate

The percentage of the number of online front-end systems to the total number of front-end systems within a given statistical scope at a given time.

3.4 Availability

The percentage of the total online operating duration of a device or platform to the total duration of the specified statistical period.

3.5 Healthy

The state in which the availability of a device or platform within a given statistical period is greater than the specified indicator requirement.

3.6 Health rate

The percentage of the number of healthy devices or platforms to the total number of devices or platforms within a given statistical scope during a given period.

3.7 Telephone rescue call

The public calls a designated rescue telephone number to seek assistance.

3.8 Manual rescue call

A passenger presses the emergency call button inside the elevator to seek assistance.

3.9 Automatic rescue call

The front-end system automatically detects an elevator entrapment event and automatically transmits the relevant information of the entrapment event to the remote server.

3.10 Entrapment

A passenger inside the elevator car is unable to leave the elevator within a reasonable time at their own will due to elevator-related causes.

3.11 Multimedia playback device

An image, audio, and video playback device installed inside the elevator car or beside escalators and moving walkways. It is part of the front-end system of the elevator operation monitoring system and is optional.

3.12 Enterprise subsystem of the monitoring system

A system consisting of an enterprise platform and front-end systems that can operate independently.

3.13 False alarm rate

The percentage of reported fault events occurring during normal elevator operation to the total number of reported fault events within the statistical period.

3.14 Missed alarm rate

The percentage of unreported fault events occurring during elevator operation faults to the total number of reported fault events within the statistical period.

3.15 Supervision database

Supervision data stored in a standardized format outside the elevator operation monitoring system, available for real-time query by the municipal platform within the system.
